At Family Roots Farm, we know how important it is to have a healthy diet, and the only way to do that is to know where and how your food is grown and processed!
Did you know that over 80 percent of our food sold in big chain stores and even in some cases “farmers markets”, come from other states and different countries. The bad part is, we don’t know how they were grown or what chemicals have been used to produce and “keep them fresh” for long periods of time.
This is why we dedicate our farm to “organic methods” only. No herbicides or pesticides are used…. ever!! It’s a proven fact that the healthier the plant is, the more resistant they are to pests or disease. we let nature do the work. We merely feed the soil, and the soil feeds the plants, and they feed us! The perfect cycle of life.
